                           Transaction in Own Shares


The Company announces that between 15th and 16th February 2007 Jarvis purchased
12,000 ordinary shares to hold in Treasury pending cancellation, at an average
price of 120.25p.


The Company now holds a total of 77,000 ordinary shares in Treasury and will
continue to purchase its own shares for Treasury when appropriate, and in
accordance with the authority granted by its Members.
