                           Transaction in Own Shares






The Company announces that between 8th and 9th February 2007 Jarvis purchased
25,000 ordinary shares to hold in Treasury pending cancellation, at an average
price of 117.47p.


The Company now holds a total of 65,000 ordinary shares in Treasury and will
continue to purchase its own shares for Treasury when appropriate, and in
accordance with the authority granted by its Members.
