                           Transaction in Own Shares



The Company announces that between 26 and 28 March 2007 Jarvis purchased 63,000
Ordinary Shares to hold in Treasury pending cancellation, at an average price of
153.15p.


The Company now holds a total of 63,000 ordinary shares in Treasury and will
continue to purchase its own shares for Treasury when appropriate, and in
accordance with the authority granted by its Members. The Company now has
11,200,000 shares in issue.
