JARDINE MATHESON HOLDINGS LIMITED (the 'Company')

Please be advised that at the Annual General Meeting of the Company
held today, all resolutions of the ordinary business as set out in
the Notice of Annual General Meeting dated 25 April 2000, being
resolutions 1 - 5, were duly passed.  The members' resolutions 1 - 6
as set out in the Addendum to Notice of Annual General Meeting dated
8 May 2000, were not passed.
