SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDER

On 4 June 2001, Jardine Strategic Holdings Limited's ('JSH') interest in JMH
increased from 50.99% to 51.05% as a result of the increase in the number of
option shares held by a subsidiary undertaking. JSH's interest was
made up as follows:-
