JARDINE MATHESON HOLDINGS LIMITED ('JMH')

DEALINGS BY DIRECTORS


We received notification today from GEORGE HO, a director of JMH, of
the take up of rights provisionally allotted to him as a result of
the Rights Issue of Mandarin Oriental International Limited, a subsidiary of
JMH. The interest arising from the provisional allotment to Mr Ho was
announced on 24 February 2000. Rights were taken up in full as follows:

13,551   NEW ORDINARY SHARES (US$0.51 per share) 
     1   CONVERTIBLE BOND    (US$5,000 per convertible bond)
