In accordance with the rules of the Plan, the Renumeration Committee has awarded
the Directors of the Company options over ordinary shares as detailed below.



Geoffrey Halstead: 9,000 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 259.33 pence

Mark Halstead: 9,000 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 259.33 pence

Gordon Oliver: 9,000 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 259.33 pence



The date of the grant is 25 October 2002 and the period of exercise is between
the third and the tenth anniversary from the date of the grant.
