In accordance with the rules of the James Halstead Share Option Plan, the
Remuneration Committee has awarded the Directors of the Company options over 5p
ordinary shares as detailed below:

Mr Mark Halstead    50,000 shares
Mr Gordon Oliver    50,000 shares

The date of the grant is 30 January 2008, the exercise price is 486.17p and the
period of exercise is between the third and the tenth anniversary from the date
of the grant.
