Jupiter Second Enhanced Income Trust PLC (the 'Company') received notification today from Jupiter Asset Management
Limited (`Jupiter') that following a purchase of 1,200,000 Geared Income shares on behalf of its discretionary client
Jupiter Monthly Income Fund, Jupiter now holds 6,717,124 shares representing 10.69% of the total voting shares in issue.

Further to this transaction, Jupiter has also purchased a contract for differences over a further 1,800,000 Geared
Income shares on behalf of its discretionary clients Jupiter Planet Limited and Jupiter Hyde Park Hedge Fund.
