Jupiter Second Enhanced Income Trust PLC ('the Company') has received
notification from the directors of the Company listed below that following the
launch of the Company their holdings in the shares of the Company were as
follows:

James G West-37,500 Geared Income shares and 10,000 Zero Dividend Preference
share (representing in aggregate 0.04% of the total voting rights of the
Company).

Wilfrid M Caldwell-4,851 Zero Dividend Preference shares and 12,899 Zero
Dividend Preference shares held by his wife Mrs Linda L Caldwell (representing
in aggregate 0.02% of the total voting rights of the Company).

Christopher Jones-25,000 Geared Income shares (representing 0.02% of the total
voting rights of the Company).

There are 56,144,159 Geared Income shares and 56,144,159 Zero Dividend
Preference shares in issue. On a poll each Geared Income share carries one vote
and each Zero Dividend Preference share carries one vote.
