Director/PDMR Shareholding

Jupiter Second Enhanced Income Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification
from Mr C Jones, a director of the Company, that he and his wife, Mrs L M Jones,
have each purchased 755 Geared Income shares at 0.6589p as part of a regular
investment plan.  Following these purchases Mr C Jones holds a total of 52,894
Geared Income shares and Mrs L M Jones holds 27,894 Geared Income shares in the
Company, representing 0.04% and 0.02% of the total voting rights in the Company.

There are 62,822,084 Geared Income shares and 62,822,084 Zero Dividend
Preference shares in issue.  On a poll each Geared Income share carries one vote
and each Zero Dividend Preference share carries one vote.  The Packaged Units
consist of one Geared Income share and one Zero Dividend Preference share.
