Director/PDMR Shareholding

Jupiter Second Enhanced Income Trust PLC (`the Company') received notification
from Mr C Jones, a director of the Company, that he and his wife, Mrs L M Jones,
have each purchased 448 Geared Income shares at 0.5539 as dividends that were
reinvested into their regular investment plan.  Following these purchases Mr C
Jones holds a total of 58,435 Geared Income shares and Mrs L M Jones holds
33,430 Geared Income shares in the Company, representing 0.05% and 0.03% of the
total voting rights in the Company.

There are 62,822,084 Geared Income shares and 62,822,084 Zero Dividend
Preference shares in issue.  On a poll each Geared Income share carries one vote
and each Zero Dividend Preference share carries one vote.  The Packaged Units
consist of one Geared Income share and one Zero Dividend Preference share.
