                           Purchase of own securities



On 11 October 2002, I2S plc bought for cancellation a total of 60,000 ordinary
shares of 25p each (representing 0.81 per cent. of the issued ordinary share
capital of the Company) at a price of 37p per share.



Following the cancellation of these shares there will be 7,360,000 shares in
issue.
