                           Purchase of own securities

On 14 January 2003, I2S plc bought for cancellation 51,000 ordinary shares of
25p each (representing 0.69 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of
the Company) at a price of 36p per share.

Following the cancellation of these shares there will be 7,299,000 shares in
issue.
