ITIS Holdings PLC 23 January 2002 23rd January 2002 ITIS HOLDINGS plc WINS CONTRACT FROM ONE OF THE WORLD'S LEADING VEHICLE RENTAL ORGANISATIONS 'ITIS Holdings plc ('ITIS') the AIM listed telematics company today announced a contract to provide vehicle tracking and security services to one of the worlds largest car rental companies (' the Company'). Details of the Company are confidential because the Contract which will make a net contribution, is based around vehicle security services. The contract is initially for 200 vehicles split across five European countries and involves the installation of NavTrak units. Subject to the success of this scheme, the Company has stated its intention to fit NavTrak units in its fleet of premium vehicles, of which there are several thousand. ITIS is also in discussion with the Company to provide other telematics services. ITIS' Chief Executive Stuart Marks said 'The vehicle rental market is one of the most difficult to crack but the potential opportunities are enormous, once relationships are established. The contract is an important milestone for ITIS, demonstrating the company's ability to market its services internationally and is further evidence of the strength of its technology'. He also commented 'Since the Interim Results were announced on November 21st,2001, ITIS continues to make good progress amongst the uncertainties of the financial markets. For example, the RDS TMC service is now live with Toyota customers and we are working very closely with other car manufacturers to integrate the service to their satellite navigation systems.
