New Contract

ITIS Holdings PLC 08 January 2004 8 January 2004 NAVTRAK SYSTEM TO BE STANDARD EQUIPMENT ON THE NEW MASERATI QUATTROPORTE ITIS Holdings plc (ITIS) today announces that Maserati UK has approved its NavTrak system as the only vehicle tracking system to be installed as standard on all new Maserati Quattroporte cars. This news further endorses ITIS' strategy to work directly with vehicle manufacturers to provide services, which are supplied as standard on new cars thereby avoiding the high costs associated with marketing and selling to the individual customer. This is very different strategy to a product being approved as an accessory where a third party dealership is ultimately responsible for up-selling the product to the customer. Stuart Marks, Chief Executive of ITIS Holdings Plc, commented, 'NavTrak's original product has been exclusively fitted as standard on Ferrari, and as an option on Maserati, since February 2003. We are delighted that features such as full European service coverage and ease of installation, have now led NavTrak to be chosen as a standard fit on this exciting new model. This selection is a major endorsement of our NavTrak system and the service we deliver.' James Pillar, Head of Marketing for Ferrari and Maserati UK commented, 'NavTrak is an intelligent tool in addressing the issue of car theft. No matter how sophisticated a car's alarms and immobilisers, there's little that can protect it against a determined thief who has obtained the driver's keys. By committing to fit NavTrak as standard on the Maserati Quattroporte in the UK, we're maximising the chances of quickly recovering a high value performance and luxury car, particularly before any damage is incurred.' NavTrak uses GPS and GSM technology to track the stolen vehicle, and aid a fast recovery through established procedures with police forces, in Britain and across 23 continental European countries covered under NavTrak's service. - ends - Contacts: Stuart Marks, Chief Executive, ITIS Holdings PLC - 0161 927 3602 Ginny Pulbrook, Director, Citigate Dewe Rogerson - 020 7282 2945 Note to editors: ITIS Holdings plc, listed on Aim, is the UK's leading provider of traffic information and vehicle security services.
