The Company was notified on 16 August 2007 by Smedvig Capital AS ('Smedvig'),
who are represented on the ITIS Board by John Hewett, a non executive director,
that they have made a further purchase of 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 2p each
in the Company. Smedvig now holds 15,550,212 such ordinary shares, representing
approximately 15.80 per cent. of the Company's voting rights.

This purchase follows the purchase on 13 August 2007 of 930,000 ordinary shares
of 2p each in the Company, and brings the total shares purchased by Smedvig over
the last four days to 1,930,000 ordinary shares of 2p each in the Company.
