The Company was notified on the 24 June 2004 by Universities Superannuation Scheme Limited ('USS') that following the 
purchase of 1,200,000 ordinary shares of 2p each in the Company, USS now holds 3,010,000 such ordinary shares 
representing approximately 3.06 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary shares.

The shares are held in the UK Smaller Companies fund and are registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited (USS).
