HACRA Project Mining Right Announcement

The Company is pleased to announce that Hacra Mining and Exploration Company (Pty) Ltd ("HACRA"), a 71% subsidiary of Sylvania Platinum Limited ("Sylvania"), has received confirmation from the Department of Mineral Resources ("DMR") that its application for a Mining Right on the Farms Harriets Wish, Cracouw and Aurora, which was submitted in April 2013, has been accepted.

The next steps towards the granting of the Mining Right will be the submission of an Environmental  Management Programme later this year and various public participation meetings which the Company is required to hold under the Mineral Resources & Petroleum Development Act.

A decision by the DMR on the Mining Right Application is expected during the course of 2014.

Commenting today Peter Cox, CEO of Ironveld plc, said: "The acceptance of the Mining Right Application by the DMR is a major step towards granting of the Mining Right and another key milestone for Ironveld in the development of our pig iron project."
