Mercury Recycling Group plc announces that application has been made for
2,500,000 new ordinary 10p shares to be admitted to trading on the Alternative
Investment Market, pursuant to the exercise of warrants.  It is expected that
admission of the new ordinary shares will take place, and that dealings will
commence, on 19 July 2001.
