Result of Extraordinary General Meeting

At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Irish Continental Group plc ("ICG" or the "Company") held today, Thursday 22 May 2014, the resolution proposed was passed on a show of hands.

The full text of the resolution was included in the notice of the Extraordinary General Meeting circulated to shareholders on 7 May 2014.

Details of valid proxy appointments held by the Board are available on the Company's website www.icg.ie.
