Re. Brochure of Particulars

Irish Continental Group plc ('ICG' or the 'Company') announces that options in
respect of 76,700 ICG Units (76,700 Ordinary Shares and 690,300 Redeemable
Shares) have been exercised under the Company's Share Option Scheme.

Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and the UK Listing
Authority for these shares to be admitted to the official lists in Dublin and
London. Application has also been made to the London Stock Exchange for the
shares to be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for
listed securities. The shares rank pari passu in all respects with the existing
Ordinary Shares and Redeemable Shares.
