Irish Continental Group PLC 12 April 2007 12 April 2007 Irish Continental Group plc ('ICG' or the 'Company') Result of Extraordinary General Meeting At the extraordinary general meeting at 3.45 p.m. today, 12 April 2007, at The Berkeley Court Hotel, to consider the Aella offer, the Independent Directors proposed a resolution to adjourn the extraordinary general meeting. This resolution was duly passed by shareholders and the extraordinary general meeting has been adjourned until further notice. In addition, two court meetings were also due to have been held at 3.15 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. today, also at The Berkeley Court Hotel. Pursuant to an application from the Company, the Court yesterday ordered the adjournment until further notice of these meetings also.
