Irish Continental Group plc ('ICG' or the 'Company') announces that an
application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and the UK Listing
Authority for a block listing of 230,000 ICG Units (comprising Ordinary Shares
and Redeemable Shares). The shares rank pari passu in all respects with the
existing Ordinary Shares and Redeemable Shares and will be allotted pursuant to
the Company Share Option Scheme.
