Ubisense and ATS Global form partnership to provide advanced automation solutions to manufacturing companies worldwide

Cambridge and Nuneaton, UK - Ubisense Group Plc ("Ubisense" or the "Company") (LSE:UBI), a market leader in location solutions technology and ATS Global ("ATS") are pleased to announce a strategic partnership agreement to deploy advanced industrial and process automation solutions for the world's leading manufacturing companies.

The partnership will allow both organisations' new and existing customers to take advantage of the latest advances in location-aware manufacturing solutions from Ubisense combined with the latest thinking from ATS in leading edge Manufacturing Execution Systems ("MES").

The customer base of both companies already reaches some of the world's largest manufacturing groups including EADS, BMW, Toyota, Honda, GM, Paccar, Rolls Royce Aerospace, BAE, GKN and GE.

By combining both Ubisense and ATS solutions, manufacturing companies will benefit from even greater levels of flexibility and traceability, supporting manufacturing efficiency goals such as automation, process control and error proofing, and reducing the need for operator interaction such as manual inputs for job confirmation and barcode scans.

Commenting on the strategic partnership, Richard Green, CEO of Ubisense, said: "We are proud to partner with the leading practitioner in the MES marketplace, ATS Global. Their experience is unrivalled in the industry and we look forward to working with them to roll out solutions that can deliver considerable efficiencies to manufacturers across the globe."

The partnership with ATS is a clear example of our strategy aimed at partnering with leading manufacturing systems providers to enable our products to be trialled and selected by the some of the largest manufacturing groups.

Mike James, Chairman of ATS added: "We see the adoption of location aware manufacturing solutions driving significant productivity benefits for the leading manufacturing companies and believe they are set to become part of the mainstream MES landscape."
