                       Notification of Preliminary Results

advanced semiconductor wafers, we notify the London Stock Exchange that the
Company will be announcing its Preliminary Results for the year ended 31
December 2003 on Wednesday 24 March 2004.

An analyst briefing will be held at 09.30 am and a press briefing at 11.00 am at
