 the acquisition  of  Société Générale  Asset  Management UK  by  GLG
Partners, Inc on 3  April 2009, GLG Partners  LP now has an  interest
over ordinary 1 pence shares in IQE of 34,128,021, being 7.87% of the
issued share capital of the Company.

The total  number  of  the  Company's ordinary  shares  in  issue  is
433,903,109.
