                                Additional Listing


Application has today been made to the London Stock Exchange for 161,774
ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') to be admitted to
trading on AIM. These Ordinary Shares are being issued pursuant to the exercise
of share options by employees and former employees under the IQE Employee Share
Option Scheme.


Admission of these Ordinary Shares is expected to become effective on 27 April
2006.
