The Company received notification today from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers
Group Limited stating that as at 19 July 2005 it was interested in 6,395,123
ordinary shares of 10p each of the Company (the 'shares'), representing 14.11%
of the Company's then issued share capital. Merrill Lynch Investment Managers
Group Limited's interest was registered as follows:

Nutraco Nominees Limited (Des & Undes) being the registered holder of 5,383,468
shares, representing 11.88% of the then issued share capital of the Company.

Merrill Lynch Pension Nominees Limited A/C Noncert being the registered and
beneficial holders of 1,011,655 shares, representing 2.23% of the then issued
share capital of the Company.
