On 27 May 2005, the Company received notification from Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc.
stating that as at 25 May 2005 Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. was interested in
6,486,138 ordinary shares of 10p each (the 'shares') of the Company,
representing 14.31% of the then issued share capital of the Company. Merrill
Lynch & Co., Inc.'s interest was registered as follows:

Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Group Limited - Nutraco Nominees Limited being
the registered holder of 5,260,815 shares, representing 11.61% of the then
issued share capital of the Company.

Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Group Limited - Merrill Lynch Pension Nominees
Limited A/C Noncert being the registered and beneficial holders of 1,069,833
shares, representing 2.36% of the then issued share capital of the Company.

Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. being the registered holder of 155,490 shares,
representing 0.34% of the then issued share capital of the Company.
