IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or "the Company"), the developer of intellectual property based businesses, has today published its Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2011.

In compliance with Listing Rule 9.6.3, the following documents have today been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do:

·     Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2011; and

·     Notice of Annual General Meeting.

Printed copies of these documents together with the Form of Proxy have today been posted to shareholders who have requested hard copies. Copies will also be available electronically on the Investor Relations section of the IP Group website at www.ipgroupplc.com/reports.

The 2012 Annual General Meeting will be held at 2.00 pm on Wednesday 2 May 2012 at the Company's offices at 24 Cornhill, London, EC3V 3ND.
