                    NOTIFICATION OF SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDING


The Company received notification today that Fidelity Investments Limited
('FIL') and its direct and indirect subsidiaries have a non-beneficial interest
in 2,500,000 ordinary shares in the Company, equivalent to 3.24% per cent. of
the Company's issued share capital. The interest is registered as follows:

Mellon Bank N.A.                                                     2,235,000
Brown Brothers Harrimn Ltd Lux                                         265,000



The notification by FIL also comprises a notifiable interest of Mr Edward C
Johnson 3rd, a principal shareholder of FIL.
