                           CANCELLATION OF OPTIONS


The Directors of iomart Group Plc ('iomart') announce that options over
434,502 ordinary shares have been forfeited by certain directors of iomart and
cancelled by the Company.  These options were held by the following
individuals:

Nick Kuenssberg                                      80,701
Fred Shedden                                         53,801
David Harrison                                       300,000

                                                     434,502

These options were exercisable at 90p each on various dates between 19 April
2001 and 30 May 2010.

There are no immediate plans to issue these directors with any new options.
