18 Month Extension of Blythe and Skipper Licences

Further to the update of 7^th February 2014, the Board of Independent Oil and Gas plc ("IOG") (AIM:IOG.L), the North Sea focused Oil and Gas Company, is pleased to confirm that the Blythe and Skipper licences have been extended by 18 months to 31^st September 2015.

Alpha Petroleum Resources Ltd operates the Blythe and Skipper licences in which IOG has a 50% interest.
