Iofina received notification that, following the acquisition of shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), on 24 February 2011, BT Pension Scheme Trustees Limited, acting as trustee of the BT Pension Scheme, is now interested in 8,233,598 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 7.944 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

Iofina is involved in the exploration and production of both iodine and natural gas with complete vertical integration into the specialty chemical iodine derivatives business.
