Iofina received notification on 20 February 2009 that following an acquisition of ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') on 18 February 2009, UBS Global Asset Management Life Limited is interested in 3,789,074 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 3.68 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
