Investec plc - Investor briefing


In light of the recent movements in the Investec share price and in response to
a number of requests from various external parties, the Management of Investec
will hold an investor briefing on Monday, 24 February 2003 at 11:00 (UK time).
The Management and the Board of Investec would like to reaffirm that the
operational fundamentals of the group are sound.
