that Fintique III BVI Limited ('Fintique'), an Investec leveraged equity plan,
disposed of 659,391 Investec plc ordinary shares of £0.001 each ('Ordinary
Shares'), being 0.88% of the issued Ordinary Shares of the Company on the 2nd 
March 2005.
