Headline:        Annual General Meeting


At the Annual General Meeting of the Company held yesterday all the
resolutions were passed.  It was announced that Sir Michael Richardson, who
will be 77 during the Company's current financial year, would retire as a
Director at the conclusion of the Meeting.  (He has been a director of the
Company since 1995 and before that of its predecessor company, Drayton Far
Eastern Trust, for approaching 32 years).
