Intertek has received notification today that pursuant to Section 198 of the
Companies Act 1985, that Charterhouse Capital Limited, the ultimate holding
company of the Charterhouse Development Capital group and its subsidiaries have
sold their entire shareholding of 8.14% in Intertek. The following registered
shareholders therefore no longer have any shares in Intertek:
