Grant of Share Options



Intertek Testing Services plc, the testing and certification company, yesterday
granted options over a total of 1,284,201 ordinary shares to directors and
employees of the Company. 84,573 options have been granted to directors of the
Company, as detailed below, and the balance of 1,199,628 options to employees of
the Company.



The options are exercisable between 30 May 2005 and 29 May 2012 at an exercise
price of 437p. The following is a list of the options granted to the directors
of the Company:
