ANNUAL INFORMATION UPDATE FOR INTERTEK GROUP PLC

1.   Introduction

Intertek Group plc ('the Company') published its Annual Report on 10 March 2008 
and is now pleased to provide an Annual Information Update ('Update') in 
accordance with the requirements of Prospectus Rule 5.2. This Update refers to 
information that has been published or made available by the Company to the 
public since the previous update.

To avoid an unnecessarily lengthy document, information headings are provided 
in this Update rather than the information being included in full. Information 
referred to in this Update was up to date at the time of publication 
but some information may now be out of date. This Update has been filed with
