INPP makes further investment in digital infrastructure

25 March 2019

International Public Partnerships, the listed infrastructure investment company (the 'Company', 'INPP'), notes the release by toob Limited ('toob') which has today announced it has secured investment from the National Digital Infrastructure Fund ('NDIF'), the fourth of such investments by the fund.

toob is a full fibre broadband provider led by Nick Parbutt, a former director of Vodafone UK, and chaired by Charles McGregor, former chairman of Gigaclear.  The NDIF funding will support the delivery of gigabit broadband speeds to more than 100,000 premises by the end of 2021.

The toob investment falls within the framework of INPP's previously announced overall commitment of up to £45 million to digital infrastructure via the National Digital Infrastructure Fund ('NDIF'), alongside HM Treasury.  To date, c.£15 million of this commitment has been called by NDIF, supporting NDIF's investments.
