                          IDEAL SHOPPING DIRECT PLC



The board of Ideal Shopping Direct Plc (the 'Company') announce the
resignation of its Chairman, Peter Ridsdale, with immediate effect. Mr
Ridsdale indicated that he was unable to dedicate sufficient time and effort
to the Company in the way in which he would wish due to other work
commitments.

The board are in the process of identifying a new Chairman, in the meantime
Paul Wright, Chief Executive, will act as Chairman.
