Launch of Intercede MyID version 9 in Washington DC

Intercede (London Stock Exchange AIM: IGP) today announces that Intercede MyID PIV version 9 is now released for sale. This is the latest version of the market leading Identity and Credential Management software platform and is targeted at government and corporate users who are required to meet the latest Personal Identification Verification (PIV) and PIV-Interoperable standards.

Intercede MyID v9 provides the fastest and easiest path to compliance with the latest and most demanding standards and policies, including the US National Institute of Standards and Technology's Special Publication 800 73-3 and Secure Hash Algorithm-256.  Furthermore, it enables customers to achieve PIV compliance with new levels of integration, flexibility, deployment speed, value for money and reliability and incorporates lessons learned from multiple successful Federal PIV deployments and migrations.

Over recent months, Intercede MyID PIV v9 has been installed and tested pre-release with several key customers, including: a managed service provider, a US government integrator and a major aerospace and defense contractor. All of these customers reported enhanced product satisfaction, reliability and ease of installation.

Intercede PIV v9 is available for immediate purchase.  It incorporates important new capabilities that open new market opportunities for global customers who wish to exploit FIPS 201/PIV standards for identity and credentialing projects.

This important new product release was showcased in Washington DC yesterday to an invited audience of more than 80 industry professionals and US Federal customers, including Lockheed Martin, IBM, 3M, GSA, FAA , the Department of Justice, the Social Security Administration, the World Bank and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The focus of the launch was to explain how MyID v9 solves many of the PIV card usage and management issues that frustrate the users of competing PIV solutions.
