Intercede Opens US Support Office

London, United Kingdom, 18 November 2010 - Intercede (London Stock Exchange AIM: IGP) announces that it has today consolidated its existing US  operations into a new  office.  Located in the Dulles Technology Corridor in Virginia, Intercede's new office at Reston Town Center is ideally situated to service Intercede's US systems integration partners, resellers and Federal Government customers.

This office will be the operational hub of Intercede's growing US technical team and will provide a central support and training facility for customers and partners. This follows the incorporation last year of Intercede MyID Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Intercede Group plc, in the State of Delaware.

Richard Parris, Intercede's Chairman and Chief Executive, said "Today, Intercede comes of age in the US. This new office facility underscores Intercede's commitment to the US market and our many business partners in the National Capital Region. By locating in close proximity to many of our key customers we can support increasing levels of activity in the fast growing identity and cybersecurity markets. Furthermore, the premier location of our office will assist in the recruitment and retention of top quality technical staff ".

Intercede has previously reported that more than 50% of revenues in the current financial year will be generated in the US.

This announcement is made coincident with the Smart Cards in Government Conference and Exhibition in Washington DC, November 16-19, 2010. Intercede is participating in a number of exhibition booths and networking events in partnership with Emergent/Symantec, Hirsch, HP and Oberthur.
