The department will be using edeficeTM to provide both the issuance and day to day management of the smart cards used by individuals to securely access their local machines. Although this announcement does not have a material impact on short term revenue, Intercede is making this news available to the market because it represents an important validation of the edeficeTM product and provides a key UK Government reference site. The future potential revenue that will be available from government departments in the UK and overseas through partners such as Fujitsu Services is considered material to the Group's future prospects.
