MedaPhor expands into Southern Africa

Malaika Medical Distributors to drive ScanTrainer sales in region

MedaPhor Group plc (AIM: MED) ('MedaPhor'), the global provider of advanced ultrasound training simulators for medical professionals, today announces that it has partnered with medical device reseller specialist, Malaika Medical Distributors. Based in South Africa, the company will exclusively drive sales of ScanTrainer, the advanced ultrasound simulation system, in the sub-Saharan region of the continent.

ScanTrainer will complement Malaika Medical's growing product portfolio, which includes a number of ultrasound solutions, and was positively received by delegates when it was showcased at SASUOG in South Africa in March. Nomthi Msane, Managing Director of Malaika Medical, explains:

At SASUOG, every delegate that came to our exhibit said "it is amazing" and how it is going to significantly improve the way ultrasound is taught here.
