                        COMMENT REGARDING PRESS SPECULATION



Intec Telecom Systems PLC ("Intec" or "the Company") notes the recent press
speculation regarding the possible acquisition of ADC Telecommunications Inc.'s
(Nasdaq: ADCT) retail billing division, Singl.eView.  The Company confirms that
it is in negotiations with ADC, but there can be no assurance that these will
result in a binding agreement for the acquisition of Singl.eView.

A further announcement will be made in due course, if appropriate.
