Disclosure of Interest in shares Under Section 198

On 31 August 2004, Intec Telecom systems PLC received the following notice from
Legal and General Group plc:

"Legal and General Group plc and /or its subsidiaries no longer have a
notifiable interest in the Ordinary shares of Intec Telecom Systems PLC, based
on an issued share capital of 270,397,140 Ordinary shares."

The total issued share capital of Intec Telecom Systems PLC has increased
through a Vendor Placing and Open Offer for the recent acquisition of the '
Singl.eView' retail billing software division from ADC Telecommunications, Inc:
